DAY 1

Arequipa

We will take you to the hotel as soon as you arrive at the airport. You will begin the visit of the city with its colonial part where you can discover the cathedral, the main square and its new museum. You can also visit the famous colonial monastery of Santa Catalina: there a French-speaking guide can be arranged directly on site.

If you arrive on a Saturday, we can organize a visit to social projects such as a kindergarten and / or a school in a poor neighborhood or a volcanic stone quarry. Finally, you will be able to take classes with a traditional Arequipa cook who will make you discover the secrets of a typical dish and its famous "Pisco Sour" cocktail, so that you will be true experts willing to share your new recipes with your friends during your next meals!

DAY 2

Colca Canyon

This morning, departure to the Colca Canyon! We will organize your transfer from the airport to your hotel. Then you will go up the pampas to the Colca Canyon. You will reach one of the highest passages of your trip (Paso Patapampa, at about 4910m altitude, which makes it the second deepest canyon in the world). At this time, you will be able to observe the imposing volcanoes of Chachani and Mistio.

You will pass the important "Andean Camelid Reserve"; You will have the opportunity to observe alpacas, llamas but also vicuñas.

DAY 3

Condor Cross

The departure will be early in the morning, with a bus that will pick you up from your hotel. You will visit the Colca National Park.

You will make many stops, for example in the town of Maca, before reaching your meeting point with the "kings of the Andes" where you can observe condors. Take the opportunity to walk a little and appreciate the landscape, admire the Inca terraces! The more sporty will have the opportunity to take a ride through the Canyon on a mountain bike.

At the end of the afternoon, we will organize your return to Arequipa.
